Inspiration of the day
| TERRY WILCOX |
A tall flat monolith made of eight layers of magnesium and aluminum bolted together with many exposed steel bolts. Vertically, the piece is divided into four segments. The steel base is set in a concrete pad. The sculpture was designed to correspond visually with the George Washington Bridge which rises in the background. The artist intended the layers to mix together by a process known as diffusion, so that by 3000 A.D. the layers are fused.
